Hi – I’m Trevor Emdon, as you’ll have guessed!  In a nutshell, I believe life is for living.  It isn’t for marking time til you croak.

Almost 4 decades ago I began searching for the keys to happiness, because some of the stuff that happened during my childhood wasn’t exactly great.  Like my Mum died of cancer when I was 9, for example.

I’m not after sympathy.  I’m just telling you that that was one very significant event that made me and what remained of our family very sad, angry and confused, especially when you’re nine.

So as I reached my teens I figured out a handful of things:

• Life’s short.
• Time’s the most precious thing we have because it can’t be replaced.
• Death is the only guarantee in life.  (Not death and taxes!)
• What happens  after death really is a matter for conjecture.

My journey so far has taken me through training as a mental health professional, an NLP practitioner, life coach, author and speaker.  I’ve travelled literally halfway round the world to learn stuff, and I continue, at the age of 53 to learn and grow.

Am I happy?

Yes.  It didn’t come easily or early for me, but definitely yes.  I live in a gorgeous village in rural England.  I have a beautiful wife with whom I am very much in love and we laugh every day.  I have been blessed with good health, and I spend a lot of time writing and teaching and finding other ways to make other people’s dreams come true.  The more I help, and the better I get at it, the more my dream is fulfilled too.

Since you’re here, I’m going to say that that’s not a chance encounter.  I believe in something – I don’t have to name it or be religious – but an intelligence that guides this magnificent and awesome universe.  I can’t even make a daisy, let alone a coincidence.

So let’s just start by assuming that we’ve met for a reason, and let’s wait to discover what that is, shall we?

Here is the recipe for how to attract money. You will need:

1 bucketful of trust.
Unshakeable belief in yourself.
Clear intention.

You don’t need the ability to powerfully visualise, nor do you need to be saintly. This recipe works and on Tuesday last, (which was August 31st 2010), I proved it.

Now, I need to be clear. Proof is not of the scientific kind – I’ve proved it to my own satisfaction and I’ll leave you to decide if you want to try the experiment for yourself. I have prepared a few “make it simple” tools for you which I’ll tell you about later in this post.

First, I got really very clear about who and what I am. I mean in the way that a daffodil or my cat wouldn’t need to because it simply is “daffodil” or “cat”. It doesn’t have to try to be or think about it.

In my case, I’m a writer and teacher of self help. It’s not only what I do best, it’s what I love to do.

Second, I made a firm decision in my mind that I would trust in the power that made me. That is, the power that not only created my physical self with all its incredible abilities, (can you circulate your own blood? I thought not!), but also that same power that made me a writer and teacher of self help.

I help people in this way, and it’s what I love to do, so that is what I’m for, if you see what I mean. It’s my purpose.

Okay. So then I simply decided that I would make an extra $100 online from my work on Tuesday. The “how” wasn’t up to me, any more than how I circulate my blood is. If I felt powerfully moved or enthused to do something, I’d do it, but otherwise I wasn’t going to do anything else about my earnings. In other words, there was no sense of “trying.”

And in it came!

The first $77 came from a sale of a product I’m no longer promoting – it’s just a web page sitting there. In fact, it was originally an offer that’s ended, and when it ended the price increased to $77. No one, until Tuesday, has purchased that item at that price, and the page was not being promoted, so I don’t know how the “random” customer found it!

A very encouraging start – only $23 left to go.

Drips and drabs came in, and by eleven minutes to midnight I was up by a total of $99.41. I laughed at the notion that the universe would leave me 59 cents short, but I was happy.

And then, at around five to twelve a sale for $17!

The universe overpaid me!
